Double bedroom, luxury shower room, living room and kitchen area.
The building, formerly The Steam Packet Inn, has been sensitively refurbished and comprises the Route 2 Café Bar and Apartments. The historic building is Topsham’s second oldest hostelry (the oldest is The Bridge Inn) and was originally called the Red Lion. In 1850 it was renamed the Steam Packet after the Zephyr steam packet that sailed every Saturday from Topsham to London, a journey that took three days, with stops in Cowes and Portsmouth. At one time, the pub had its own brewhouse as well as two skittle alleys. The Steam Packet was closed by Heavitree Breweries in 2008.
